Ranikhet Primary School, Reading Borough Council, 2020-2023, £12m: Design Lead at HCC Architects responsible for this new school for 420 children in Dee Park, Reading. The school replaces an existing 1970's single-storey school that has come to the end of its life. The two storey compact double banked school sits in the middle of the site, allowing the existing school to stay in operation during construction with new landscape works taking place after the existing school has been demolished. The front of the school opens onto a new public piazza which engages with the local Dee Park Community that surrounds the school site.
